This website is operated by Ada Studio, Copenhagen, Denmark. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Ada Studio. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and merchants.
Handmade Nature & Unique Characteristics
Each piece of jewelry at Ada Studio is individually handcrafted. By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree that:
* Form & Shape: There may be slight variations in shape, texture, and form between the product image and the physical item.
* Natural Stones: We use natural gemstones; therefore, variations in color, inclusions, and tone are natural and expected.
* Imperfections: Small "imperfections" are a testament to the handmade process and our Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, and are not considered defects.
Products & Made-to-Order Production
* Production Time: Items marked as "Made-to-Order" or custom pieces can take up to 6 weeks for production. This timeframe does not include weekends or Danish public holidays.
* Display Accuracy: We make every effort to display colors as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be accurate.
* Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
Payments & Security
Our store is hosted on Wix. They provide the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products.
* Payment Methods: We accept payments via PayPal and Credit/Debit Cards.
* Encryption: Your credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. We do not store your full card details.
* Accuracy: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all transactions.
Shipping, Returns & Hygiene
* Shipping: Delivery estimates are provided in our Shipping Policy. Ada Studio is not responsible for delays caused by weather, holidays, or customs.
* Hygine Policy (Earrings): For hygiene and safety reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive faulty.
* Custom Pieces: Under Danish law, items made to your specific size or specifications (including custom ring sizing) are non-refundable.
* Return Costs: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
Warranty & Complaints (Købeloven)
Since Ada Studio is based in Denmark, we follow the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven):
* You have a 24-month right to complain regarding manufacturing defects.
* This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, accidental breakage, normal wear and tear, or exposure to chemicals (perfume, chlorine, etc.).
* To file a complaint, please contact us at aadastudioo@gmail.com with photos of the defect.
Intellectual Property
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of our designs, jewelry, or website content without express written permission from us.
Errors & Omissions
Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors or inaccuracies related to pricing, descriptions, or availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to cancel orders if information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark.
